Zoomer Waiting

Zoomer is really Nathan's cat.  She doesn't mind me, but she really loves Nathan.  When he's home she's always wanting to give him attention, and when he's gone, she sleeps by the stairs, waiting for him to come home. Very cute, but I'd love some cat attention too!! ;)

Portal Lego Creation

I really think my students are some of the best Lego creators I have ever met. I  am constantly astounded by their K'Nex and Lego creations they create without any directions at all. Keep in mind, they do all these projects while the other students finish their work. So this isn't just free time, they finish their work fast so they can build cool things! :)

Trimmed Bush

The bush in front of our house is looking much better now!  I wish I had taken a before picture, I cut off around a foot and half of the bush!

New Mailbox

Our poor mailbox was falling apart. I think our mailman was getting upset so we got a new mailbox.

Reading Felix

I read more Felix yesterday to the class.  They love this world traveling rabbit!  (He's in Italy now!) :)

  Ah haha, funny! Can you see the tiny Felix in the upper right hand corner?  :)  Each child made one of those and mailed it to a relative who mails back a postcard from wherever Felix "visited."  :)

Temple Run

Principal Recognized

Today our state senator came and recognized our school principal for doing such an outstanding job.  One of our staff nominated her, and everything came through!  He read a very official document stating all the reasons she's being recognized.  There were cake, balloons, her family came and surprised her, along with the superintendent, the senator, and all her staff.  She definitely deserves it! :)

Minecraft Set

I am the cool teacher today.  I brought in my own Minecraft Lego set and the students thought that was the neatest thing ever... :)
