Music Day

I have been teaching my students about sound and sound waves.  Today we practices "playing the sound wave." It was a fun but loud day!  

Owl Tangrams

A student made me an owl out of Tangrams during centers.  So cute and creative!!!

Luminarias

Nathan and I walked through the Luminarias on Sunday night.  The horse stables on our mesa put out luminarias in a circle and you can walk around the sables, stop at the bonfires, have hot cider and s'mores. :)

Nutcracker Twice

Yesterday was saw the Nutcracker twice! The first was a ballet done by the local ballet company, and I got to see quite a few students and co-workers in the performance. They all did a wonderful job!  The Los Alamos ballet was a very modified version of the Nutcracker though, and Nathan and I really wanted to see the "regular" ballet as well, so we watched that on the TV after we got home.  :)

Clay Owl

A student made me an adorable mini owl out of clay. :)

Coffee Cup

Though it is quite beat up, I am very thankful for my coffee cup! I use it every single day and it keeps my coffee hot until I want to drink it later. Wonderful!

Cool Weather

I am thankful to get to see really neat weather! I love cool clouds, and on the way back from Colorado, we got to see some really great clouds!

I am thankful to be able to sit with Nathan by my parents' wonderful fire. :)

Games with Family

I am thankful to play games with my family! I played Phase 10 with the Stewart family and Five Crowns with the Miller family. :) Fun!!

Gnomes

I am thankful for funny gnomes!  This gnome house up at the cabin always makes me smile! (The little lantern is really neat too; it comes on when it's dark.)

Miller Cabin

I am thankful the Miller cabin is such a wonderful place to be!  Here's Nathan relaxing on the couch at the cabin. :)

Snow!!!!!

The cabin got around a foot to a foot and a half of snow!  It was amazingly gorgeous!
