New Car!

Nathan and I got a new car this weekend! Very exciting. :)

Daffodils

It may not look like it, but I planted 100 daffodils in this planter today.  Hoping for a good show!

(I know it's a bad time for planting daffodils, but the greenhouse in Santa Fe was giving bags away for free, so I thought it was worth a shot!) :)

I wish I had a new picture since this is outdated now, but students have been bringing in their bunnies/rabbits because we are reading Felix.  I have quite a few more now, so I'll have to update later once the rabbit collection slows down. Here's the collection on the first day:

Snow Day!

It started as a delay and moved to a full snow day, hooray!! :)

Junior Monopoly Creation

I collected a bunch of Junior Monopoly houses and hotels, made some roads and intersections, and let my students go at it. They had fun and created quite the neighborhood!! :)

Relaxing Day

For all that I cleaned, cleaned, cleaned, it was a wonderful, relaxing day!  Our run was a little windy and cold, but on a plus side, I saw my first dandelion of the season! :)

Lemon Poppy Seed Muffins

Made more Meyer Lemon Poppyseed Muffins!  Yum!  Pulled it right off the tree and then baked it, hooray!

Not my backyard, but not too far away:   :)   This is one of the cool things abotu Los Alamos is we get quite a lot of deer roaming our backyards and town. :)

Camera Creativity

I am going to have to get creative with how I take or find related pictures... my camera simply won't turn on (I use my tablet) so I'm without a camera.  My blog will probably be more writing and less pictures for a time until I can work out my tech issues and get a camera working again. :)

Paddington Valentines

My students know I love Valentines so they brought in all the Paddington Valentines they could find! :)  Fun!!

Basketball Game

Went to multiple students' basketball game last night.  Mountain was playing Mountain, so I was the oddest cheerleader ever always cheering both sides.  It was fun!
