I am thankful to be able to sit with Nathan by my parents' wonderful fire. :)

Games with Family

I am thankful to play games with my family! I played Phase 10 with the Stewart family and Five Crowns with the Miller family. :) Fun!!

Gnomes

I am thankful for funny gnomes!  This gnome house up at the cabin always makes me smile! (The little lantern is really neat too; it comes on when it's dark.)

Miller Cabin

I am thankful the Miller cabin is such a wonderful place to be!  Here's Nathan relaxing on the couch at the cabin. :)

Snow!!!!!

The cabin got around a foot to a foot and a half of snow!  It was amazingly gorgeous!

Turkey Crafts

I am thankful I am able to to fun turkey crafts with my students!

Coloring

I am thankful for the chance to color with my students on the day before break! :)

I am thankful for thoughtful, loving students.  A student colored and decorated this wooden box for me. :)  Not for a holiday or any reason other than she wanted to, which is the best reason of all!

Cats - Amalie

I already did a thankful day for the cats, but we didn't have a good picture of Amalie.  Nathan finally got a nice one of her yesterday during our wonderful, lazy morning. :)

Delays

I am thankful for delays!! Whenever the schools are delayed, the lab is, and vica versa, so both Nathan and I had got to hang out at home longer than normal this morning! It was SO wonderful!  We had pancakes, sat with the cats, had coffeee, and in general just had a wonderful, relaxing morning. :)

Gift Wrapping

I am thankful for the opportunity to wrap more gifts! We have a baby shower on Wednesday, and I got to wrap all the gifts for my team. Yay! :)

Heat

I am so thankful for heat in my home.  The weather is getting colder by the minute outside (Hopefully rain and snow by this evening!) and I am sitting very happily in a sunbeam, hearing the water pipes creaking, and knowing I'll be warm through the night.  It's a wonderful thing. :)

Canyon Rim Trail

I am thankful for a wonderful canyon rim walking path in town.  I am very excited because they are connecting the two paths that are currently in existence to make a long (6 miles?) path along the canyon rim. It's very pretty!!

Paddington

I'm thankful for good books like Paddington that I can read to my students.  They have just finished the book and we have a party next week.  They have written a page about each chapter, and their "books" look great! :)

Veterans Day

I am thankful for the veterans of our country who fought so hard to keep us free and safe, and I am also thankful for a wonderful day off yesterday that both Nathan and I got to enjoy. :)  We didn't go anywhere or do anything, (I did bake a loaf of bread, but that's all) and it was wonderful!!

Cats

I am thankful for my two beautiful cats!!  (Amalie is much harder to take a picture of.)

Large Classroom

I am thankful to have one of the largest classrooms in my school. It's quite nice! :)

Game Nights

I am thankful for game nights with my Nathan! :)  (We played six times, and he won the very last one. Way to stick with it babe!) :)

Owl Window Clings

I am thankful to a very kind Grandmother of one of my students who gave me these owl clings. They are so cute and the students think they're great!

Outdoor Classrooms

While they are covered in snow in this picture, I am very thankful for the two very nice outdoor classroom our school has. And on top of that, one is outside one door, and one is outside my other door!  Both so easily accessible, it's great! :)

More Twinkle Lights

I am thankful for being able to have such a happy feeling bedroom.  Yay for twinkle lights everywhere! :)

Snow!

I am thankful for snow!! :)  (Especially  this one since it's the first of the year!)

Breakfast

I am thankful for being able to have a wonderful, healthy, filling breakfast each morning!! :)

Coffee

I am thankful for the ability to make and drink wonderful coffee each morning! :)
